My first career was in banking. I returned to college in my mid-30s, not knowing that mathematics was my passion and teaching mathematics was my professional purpose. I taught secondary mathematics at six different high schools in more than 20 years. I was able to return to college to earn my master's À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and now enjoy teaching college students in the general education program at LSUS.
I am the mother of two sons, Hoyt and Dylan, and the grandmother of two grandsons, Jackson and Johnny. I am "the person" of two dogs, Max and Sarge, and two cats, Ginny and GrayCat.
